Carlos Castaneda Technique for Lucid Dreaming

Carlos Castaneda instructed in one of his books that the best way to have a lucid dream is to shift the attention while dreaming. His teacher advised him to look for his hands or feet during the dream, which would help him remember that he was dreaming, and have access to using his dream body. The technique does work, although it may take many trials before a person actually remembers to look at the hands or feet while they are dreaming.

Editors Note: Carlos Castanega was a contraversial person and his writings are often considered to be fiction. At the same time, many people swear by his work and credit him with teaching them how to Lucid Dream.

I personally look at it like this. If it helps you, do it. I do not see where harm could come from his works, so why get into the debate. Test them for yourself and see what results you get.
