Visual Induction of Lucid Dreams

The term VILD is generally accepted to stand for two things. Visual Inductions of Lucid Dreams or Visually Induced Lucid Dreams.

Before you are ready to attempt a lucid dream, prepare a basic dream script for what you want your dream to include. You want to make sure there are very specific people, places or things within your dream. Lay it out from start to finish before you are ready to begin.

Work into your dream script at least 3 reality checks. Perhaps you will look at a clock two or three times within a minute of two. Pick up a book and read a couple of sentences, then reread the same paragraph a few minutes latter.

These or any other reality check you may know is fine, but work int into your dream script before you start.

When you are ready, spend a few moments getting into a relaxed state. Some may find it helpful to actually medatate on your body getting rid of all stress and tension.

When ready, lay down and visualize yourself going through your dream from start to finish, at least 3 times in a slow but consistent pattern.

Now repeat the dream script visualization over and over again, but this time with yourself inside the dream. Don't forget to do the reality scripts at their preappointed time from within your dream script because you will not realize you have dropped into a lucid dream until you do the reality check.
